Covid Compliancy

Keeping you safe during your visit

Over the last 12 months we have witnessed a resurgence in outdoor and indoor events but have also seen a significant number of events cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. During this time, Behind the Scenes Events (our award winning event partner for the Summer Classics Festival) has successfully run Covid-compliant outdoor and indoor events and has applied all of these learnings to our brand new Summer Classics Car & Bike Festival taking place in June 2022.

Even though restrictions throughout the UK have been reviewed and relaxed, coupled with the success of the vaccination programme, we will still be monitoring and complying within UK Government guidelines and will be a fully Covid-compliant outdoor festival making this a safe event for both visitors and exhibitors alike. We have been awarded the VisitEngland ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry charter mark. This verifies that our events meet the Government and public health guidance on COVID-19 and that we have all the required health and safety processes in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit.

Our overarching aim is to create a safe festival by following the main principles below:

  1. Maximum capacity of 8,000 people on the festival site at any one time
  2. Signage to remind everybody to be mindful of social distancing and to help navigate around the festival site
  3. Cleaning and monitoring of festival site seating areas and toilet facilities
  4. Social distancing guidance at the Parade Road viewing area
  5. Hand sanitisers in all necessary areas
  6. If needed we will mark queuing points on the ground to show visitors where to stand
  7. Contactless payments at ticket entry points and for vendors and concessions

The Summer Classics festival team look forward to welcoming you to our new and most creative event to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee over the Bank Holiday weekend when the days will be longer and the sun will be shining on some amazing cars and bikes and where we can all raise a glass and celebrate this unique event in full Jubilee style.
