WHAT’S ON?

Clubs and people exhibiting their classic and vintage vehicles are the heart of our festival. There will be club displays, cars and bikes from different eras and individual owner displays. For our inaugural Summer Classics, we will be celebrating the Platinum Jubilee weekend with an impressive festival of pre and post war vehicles, military vehicles, classic cars, motorcycles and scooters.

If you would like to bring your club or exhibit your vehicle, please click HERE. All exhibitors and club members will receive a commemorative Jubilee Special Rally Plate to display on the day as part of their entry fee.

We will be running a Show & Shine Competition at the festival and will showcase some of the best classic and vintage vehicles. From glistening bodywork to pristine machinery – if you’re a proud owner, we want to see what you’ve got! So polish that paintwork and buff that engine bay! Any car or bike is able to take part and entry will be a nominal fee that will be donated to BBC Children in Need. You can pre-register for the Show & Shine Competition using the contact form and entry forms will also be available on the day of the event.

Here at Summer Classics, we want to showcase the best classic vehicles on offer. Therefore we will be creating a Paddock area and a live moving Parade Road where we will provide commentary about these vehicles and why they are so special and you can witness the sounds and delights of them as they move around the Showground.

Have you ever fancied a ride in your dream car? Well, thanks to Summer Classics and Sporting Bears Motor Club you can!

‘Dream Rides’, run by charitable organisation The Sporting Bears Motor Club, offers visitors the opportunity to jump in and experience some of the most spectacular cars in the world for a 10 mile lap. All proceeds will be donated to our charity partner BBC Children in Need. Sporting Bears are a group of classic and supercar owners with big hearts, who give up their time, car and fuel for free to give unforgettable experiences to others in order to support children’s charities across the Nation. There is a Dream Ride for everyone!

To book your ride, simply head to The Sporting Bears Dream Rides arena to choose your car, make your donation and then sit back and enjoy the ride you’ve dreamt of!

The Autosolo PCA offers a fun spectacle of motorsport and skill and comprises a series of timed manoeuvrability tests laid out on the smooth tarmac area between Avon and Wye Hall.

This event in association with Sixty and Worcestershire Motor Club will be run under the Motorsport UK Clubman’s permit. All competitors will need to hold a new RS Clubman licence as a minimum in order to compete in this event. The license is free of charge and can be applied for HERE

This element of the festival is open to all under the Motorsport Uk Regulations and is a “just for fun” competition. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest timed run throughout the day.

Cost of entry in the Autosolo competition includes full marshalling, electronic timing, 1 practice run and 4 timed runs (course diagram to follow). Limited number of entries are available so please email us info@summerclassics.co.uk if you wish to enter this competition.

Summer Classics Autojumble offers a vast array of parts, spares and automobilia for sale. If you’re after a certain part or tool for your bike or car, here’s where you’ll find it! If you’re interested in retailing in the Autojumble please use the TRADER FORM to book a pitch. This is also a great opportunity to declutter your garage and get rid of those parts you no longer need and to reach your target market.

Summer Classics is a family friendly festival and time to enjoy a great day out with the kids! However, no festival is complete without a games zone whether it’s for the little kids or the big kids at heart!

Not only this but Pudsey Bear will be making the rounds to meet and greet everyone and there will be plenty of time for photo opportunities.

Head to the food village to sample a fantastic selection of great food, good coffee and soft drinks and treats. There will also be available plenty of local ales, ciders and beer to wash down your Jubilee lunch!

We are super proud to have at our festival two full-sized replica aircraft from the Battle of Britain – a WW2 Spitfire & Hurricane. These aircraft are from the War and Peace Battle of Britain Experience which is a historical and educational experience showcasing the momentous 16 week battle during the summer and autumn of 1940.

We welcome anyone to come along and join our Battle of Britain display and to bring their classic military vehicle for everyone to admire – historical uniforms are optional! see EXHIBITOR PAGE. All WW2 exhibitors will receive a commemorative Jubilee Special Rally Plate to display on the day as part of their entry fee.
